Halò, Single Malt Mates,
I went to a large liquor outlet and Mo Clann got me a fine lowland whisky. Excellent Lads that they are.
I have needed a lowland whisky for awhile now and voila Here it is.

Just 20 miles outside Edinburgh, surrounded by lots of fields of barley, Glenkinchie is one of the few lowland distilleries left open. They produce a light, easy drinking malt, which is great for blenders, and for those just getting in to single malt whisky.
Official Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromatic and flowery, like breathing in a country garden. Vanilla and cut flowers, followed by toasted oak notes. Develops to become sweet and creamy, with a light aromatic edge and citrus, like a lemon cheesecake. With water it becomes creamier.
Palate: A sweet, soft start, with custard notes, soon becoming flowery again. The mid palate is crisp, with butter icing, lemon cheesecake and freesias.
When I host tastings I like expressions from all 6 whisky producing regions of Scotland. It is a blast.
I owned another Glenkinchie 12 and it went to a guid home…

I would like to make a toast to lying, stealing, cheating and drinking. If you’re going to lie, lie for a friend. If you’re going to steal, steal a heart. If your going to cheat, cheat death. And if you’re going to drink, drink with me.
Slàinte mhòr agus a h-uile beannachd duibh.
Great health and every good blessing to you
